Metharak was founded in Bangkok with a straightforward idea: that families facing legal matters deserve the same warmth and patience they would hope for from a trusted friend — but with the legal knowledge to actually help.
Our founding team had worked in larger law practices and noticed something common: clients often felt lost in the process, hurried through appointments, and unclear about what was happening. Metharak was built specifically to be the opposite of that.
We work exclusively in family law, which means everything we know — every relationship we have built with courts, every document we have prepared — comes from real experience with real family situations in Thailand.

Family Law Experience in Bangkok
Metharak focuses entirely on family legal matters in Thailand. This means our knowledge of Thai family law — the Civil and Commercial Code provisions relating to marriage, divorce, child custody, property division, and inheritance — is current and specific. We do not spread our attention across multiple areas of law.
Bangkok is home to a large international community, and we have considerable experience assisting expatriate residents and binational families.
